COMPANY HISTORY - S.G. TORRICE CO.

Dedicated to Customer Support.... The S. G. Torrice Co. was originally founded in 1958 by Samuel G. Torrice. The original building was a small warehouse located in Melrose, MA. It was staffed by only 2 employees. In 1976, the S. G. Torrice Co. moved to a larger facility on 14 Everberg Road in Woburn. In 2003 S.G. Torrice moved to its new facility located at 80 Industrial Way in Wilmington, MA. The 100,000 square foot building houses corporate headquarters, a full training center, as well as a customer service counter and a fully stocked warehouse. The Company is currently operated by Stephen G. Torrice, President. Commitment to fast, convenient, customer service prompted the Company to open a series of strategically placed branches. The Company opened branches in Randolph in 1993, Hudson, NH in 1995, Franklin and Hyannis 1999, Peabody, in 2001 and Portsmouth, NH in 2004 and Providence, RI in 2006. The S. G. Torrice Co. also operates a 25,000 square foot sheet metal shop which is housed within corporate headquarters in Wilmington. We offer a coil line and a spiral machine and we fabricate on multiple Vulcan machines enabling us to meet all of your custom sheet metal needs. Additionally a number of our branches including: Hudson, Franklin, Hyannis, Peabody, Randolph and Portsmouth fabricate sheet metal on site.
